The journey to create this website and bring Vastu to a modern world has been a long but inspiring one...

Ann started over 18 years ago by completing her Diploma (with Honours) in Beauty Culture, Swedish Massage, and Make-Up Artistry.  These studies included Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Colour Selection and Application (Make-Up)

Fascinated by the psychology of her clients in the salon and her belief in personal growth and self awareness, her interests expanded and Ann studied further, eventually teaching meditation and other alternative methods aimed at treating the inner person. 

Ann became employed and eventually trained others in Chinese Herbal Medicine, specialising in weight loss and women's health.

Adding to this her interests in meditation and Yoga,  Ann soon realised the importance of the inner person, how it affected the outer person and how beauty is defined by the individual's courage and confidence - underlaying the cosmetics applied to the face and body.

By the late 90's her career had taken another direction and Ann became a professional consultant to residential, hospitality and commercial clients in Facilities Management and Corporate Support.  

Specialising in the 'Built Environment' that included interior decorating, space design, conservatism, 'green' environment issues and human resources.

While on holidays, resting away from the stressful corporate world, Ann came upon a book about Vastu and became instantly intrigued.  From that time on, everything seemed to 'flow' and the knowledge and wisdom appeared on many levels.  

At times trying to understand how Vastu worked and applying it to her home and daily living became so complicated that Ann just wanted to give up - but Vastu just wouldn't let her. Helpful people, money, circumstances etc appeared in her life at the right time, in the right place.....

Since then Ann has often said that she didn't find Vastu - Vastu found her ;-)

With Vastu and her previous career choices, Ann now had a full portfolio of experience in not only helping the individual with personal services, but also the persons living and working environs.

I deeply believe the time has come to revive and appreciate the art and science of Vastu in our built environment and our lifestyle — to utilise these efficient, powerful ancient techniques in everyday life...
